The Monarch

Hey guys I see some comment threads about the yellow monarch. I've beaten the maestro, beaten the gate, killed every boss including the abyss. How do I go about finding the yellow monarch, is it *SPOILERS*



...making to the end with the snowglobe AND the key to the gate of truth? Do I need all three pages to fight the monarch, or is his encounter triggered by an item you randomly pick uo? All but one of my nerconomicon slots is filled, even though I got the achievement for having filled the book. Any help would be appreciated

You need to get a snow globe and complete a game having it, than you could fight the Monarch, right after you defeat the "final boss". I dont recommend grabing both globe and the key, as it is likely to spawn the Gate instead of the Monarch (i am not 100% sure there but if you want to beat Monarch you wont need that key so it's better not to risk). I am not sure about the pages as well, but once again you lose nothing by grabbing them so it's better to do it.
