The Achondar pops up even a little before you go through the gate. In the original it didn't show up until a bit after you got in and the gate closed behind you. That effect was great, especially for the first playthrough. Now I imagine it won't have the same impact.
Oh, and one more:
Some times the boat rudder(?) / rowing thing disappears.
EDIT: I'll add another little funny one :-) Those explanatory words (in parenthesis) aren't always on point?

I have this problem now, Zoran stops couple steps in the the passage and stays there.
Hey, I've messaged you my save games and the most recent error report! Thanks for that!
I returned from Okasankar with 10 zeedog glands in my backpack intending to deliver "something sticky" to Jokace the Hide merchant and everything worked out fine at first. Suggesting to use zeedog glands worked fine. And so did delivering 4 of them and I received the reward for doing so. By that point I had 400 zorkins and 6 Glands left in my inventory.
But after that I tried to sell my remaining 6 glands. The dialogue played out, I got the prompt asking me if I wanted to sell my glands for 70 zorkins each, I chose "yes" and the animation and dialog for the exchange played as intended. But afterwards when i pressed F to check, i still had only 400 zorkins but zero glands left in my backpack.
I loaded up my previous save file which was just before entering the daoka to Talanzar from Okasankar, but the same thing happened again. All glands are gone but i receive no additional Zorkins. I tried to reload a couple of more times from a save file closer to Jokace but it changed nothing.
As a last ditch attempt I ran back to Okasankar, collected one more gland and then returned to Jokace again. But it didn’t change anything unfortunately (not that I know why it would honestly, but you never know with bugs).
This is by no means game breaking but it is a bit annoying, I'm not sure if I'm the only one who has experienced this.
As a longtime fan I’m having a great time so far rediscovering my favorite game. So I hope these small problems can be ironed out! =)
I am using Patch 2.
After finishing the training with Jan and Zokrym powers up the Daoka, I pass through and then the loading screen starts with the music. The screen then fades to black and the music continues but the game becomes unresponsive, I can't even alt-tab out or use task manager. I have to turn the system power off to restore control to my computer which is far from ideal.
I have had the same issue since I bought this on day one, both patches have not addressed this crash on my system.
This is a massive shame because I was very much looking forward to playing this after having issues years ago with Twon-ha's and processor speed which left me unable to continue the game. I feel envious of everyone who is trouble free.
Did you put all settings to lowest before using the Daoka?
The first region is small and less complex for your system... could be related to some error when loading the bigger second region.
I am reasonably over the minimum specs on an older laptop and can run on very high with no problems in the first area. I have tried all the different settings in various configurations and I get the same problem.
I was hoping someone may have a workaround or could confirm a similar issue. I don't think it is healthy to keep forcing a power down of my laptop to continue testing, especially if it is only my computer out of thousands that is affected ths way.
I will be back home from work at the end of the month and I can test and compare it on my desktop which is upto date, sadly this can take up space in my Library until then.
do I have to start a new game?
