Ball game issues

In my first normal mode run, I had no problems at all and everything felt much like I would expect it to, but when my daughter tried she almost immidiately got the ball out of the playing area and down on the floor, left it there and moved on. Much later she had to reset because there was no way to get the ball back up again, that she could find.

In my first hard mode run, I ran into performance issues where the ball would move normally one second, then stutter and move really slowly for a bit (which made it easier), only to randomly get back to normal speed (which ruined the run every time). I had to try something like 7-8 times before I got a full run through with no stutters and also completed the run.
