Guide for Easy and Hard rooms
+ Hard room definitely harder than easy room
+ Both rooms can provide entertainment that varies depending on skill level
+ Creative use of VR mechanics

Easy Room

  1. Cube 1 - Maze: Use the levers to put the ball from top left hole into the bottom right hole while avoiding the pitfalls inbetween the maze paths
  2. Cube 2 - Sitting around on a barrel
  3. Cube 3 - Sitting inside a jar
  4. Cube 4 - Electric Bar: Wind up the winch to power up the puzzle. Get the tuning spoon from the cabinets. Hold the tuning spoon and thread it around the electrified bar. If you get zapped, you need to start over. Completing the bar will unlock the cube.
  5. Cube 5 - Animal Symbols: Get the book about the farmer and bear. Match the nouns in order from left to right. Man, Sun, Horse, Bear, Mountain, Bird, Snake, Lightning
  6. Cube 6 - Chest: The treasure map has the directional symbols that match the chest. Start on the top left to right, then bottom left to right. Input the correct order from the arrows.
  7. Cube 7 - Safe: Find the missing dial and attach it to the safe. Find the book that has the hint on it. The book itself has the code you need to open the safe.

Hard Room

  1. Cube 1 - Maze: Use the levers to put the ball from top left hole into the bottom right hole while avoiding the pitfalls inbetween the maze paths. The easiest path for me was the left until you reach the bottom fork, then take the middle path right.
  2. Cube 2 - Safe 1: The hint on the book corresponds to colors white, green red. Look for the colors in the room, they are on the shield and banner to the right of the safe. On those colors is a small tiny number. That number is the code in the order the book lists 1,2,3.
  3. Cube 3 - Safe 2: The other safe book tells you about dinner and look below. The clue refers to eating at a table (for dinner) and looking below it. Below the symbols table is a numerical addition problem that when solved gives you a 6 sequence code. Find the two dials for the safe and solve. The first dial is in a jar, the second one is in a drawer. There is a third dial in a chest.
  4. Cube 4 - Chest: The book with the strange capital letters refer to the cardinal directions for the chest. There are 8 knobs but there are more than 8 capital letters. Some of the capital letters however are refer to combined directions, eg. NW or SW. Solve the chest.
  5. Cube 5 - Symbols Table: The survival guides give you all the hints to figure out what the order of the symbols are. The sun is on the left and eagle is on the right (west/east). The mountain is in the middle. The rest should be easy (horse/man on the left of mountain, and lightning/snake on the right).
  6. Cube 6 - Electric bar: The tuning spoon is in a cabinet, get it and solve the puzzle.
  7. Cube 7 - This cube is just lying around

I did not get that "a periodic dinner" reffered to the table. I was thinking about the standard lunch times people could have.

And all this story in the book about how they could not go back made me think the clou is talking about going back to easy level bc the solution is the same as there.

Thanks for the input. I will think of this when I update the game. A pretty big gameplay update is coming.

1) Ya.. I don't know what it used to say, but it was a little confusing when I was reading the book about the table. The grammar wasn't quite right, so maybe that added to it. Still was a neat idea!

2) Would recommend putting a sign on the wall next to the electric one talking about the settings (making it easier). It was a little frustrating for me (and my eyes started to hurt after missing it a dozen times.. if you could scale back the animation, it might be good).

Fun puzzles though! Also.. what's that map thing at the end? You find four pieces.. but do you do anything with them?

3) Oh, and for the easy room.. you could also have a book where on the cover, it tells you how to open it. I fiddled around with it for a bit and thought gravity would open it.. but then thought you just couldn't open them at all. Had to read a guide online that mentioned reading a book, and I was like, "What!?"

2. Good suggestion.

The map thing is for the button puzzles on the wall. You don't have to solve it if you solve 7 others. I added some extra puzzles so you can avoid the ballmaze and buzzwire since people find them frustrating.

3. Good suggestion.

Thank you for the feedback. I will try to incorporate it in the game.

Agreed with #3. Having played too many VR games where books either do not open or open by gravity, I did not figure out that I can manually open them here. Only found out about it from the recent patch note.
All in all a very nice escape room game!

Loved this escape room. Was very nice to not have a time limit and to just have all the time in the world. Made it relaxing and more emursive.

One question if anyone has the answer to it. Does anyone know what the grail or the small knight statue is for? I thought maybe there was a clue on the plaque of the statue but soon realised it wasnt for any of the puzzles I was attempting.

ok maybe i'm an idiot but I didn't even realize you could open the books! Maybe the first tip should be "you can open books if you grab with both hands" lol. Also, you should submit this as a guide instead of as a forum post
