How to feed pets

So I placed a food bowl and have pet food but I am unable to feed my pets, does anyone else have this issue is there a way around it, I do not like my pets getting sick

I guess you allready put it in the bowl ^^

They don't eat everyday. I noticed. Every other day I think. Maybe only on the days they bring you a treat (fossil or bug)

I cannot even select or target the bowl to put the food into it

Perhaps try buying another bowl? May or may not work. They're pretty cheap. You can get them from the animal farm.

I have the same problem. Cannot interact with the bowl. Can't pick it up to move it or put food in it. I have 2 bowls because i did not know one came with the pet. Neither one lets me pick it up or put pet food in it.

Does restarting the game help?
Is it just one particular kind of animal or are all the different kinds of bowls/troughs (or feed/fodder/pet food) "broken"?

I wonder if the others, who mentioned this bug, solved the problem.

Did anyone figure this out? I'm unable to feed my pets, tried everything, and my dog is sick. :(
