Hi SpartanLeonidus!

Does your inventory open and close normally otherwise? DId you change the key-bindings for your inventory? Maybe you need to change it again (and then change it back, perhaps?) in order for it to work again.

while in game ESC -> settings -> Key Binding

(I have a similar problem with the Slide Right-movement - I have to confirm in the key-bindings, that I want the E-key to cause this motion, and I have to repeat that every time after starting the game)

I hope you find a solution!

I have altered the key bindings to TAB for inventory but may have to alter it to work around the described scenario.

To test I rebound my inventory to "I" and it acted normally and as expected. It appears that the TAB key bind is causing the issue. I also tested it with "V" also normal and expected functionality.

My key binds aren't being lost though which is nice. There is just inconsistencies with menu action when using TAB key.

Actually Tab is more convenient to me as well instead of "i" but when it said already allocated and I couldnt see it on the list I decided against it. So I am not using tab but it is inconvenient as thats what I always use.

Other question - do you move items from your inventory to your toolbar via drag'n'drop (mouse) or do you use left-mouse-click on the item while holding SHIFT on your keyboard?
(Maybe switching up your habit might bypass that bug.

Maybe it bypasses the bug for SpartanLeonidus

Oh, I know why that is. [Tab] is not listed in the key bindings, but it has the same function as [esc] to bring up the menu (We had to have an alternative key when bringing up the settings in the engine because esc closed everything lol). It's weird, but If you try to rebind with [Tab] specifically it might work but also might do weird things. Sorry about that, we'll have to look into that. But if you rebind with any other key it should work normally.

Thank you for letting use know, I usuallly use arrow keys to move around but as more games now are using WASD, so am I trying to get use to that. So TAB is convenient for accessing inventory especially one handed when using the mouse. So I is inconvenient for me at the moment. But I will avoid TAB especially now for the reason you mentioned and think of something else that suits me.

Thanks for the response I can definitely work around I just use TAB for inventory a good bit in games. I do this so I don't have to remove my hand from the mouse to open something I will use a lot.
