I finally had several other people respond to my open game request.
Now they are having a very frustrating experience with it. We as a team of two to begin have both hosted and joined the others games.
Host is ok but other players is a frustrating world of difference.
We have tried it all and feel bad. sorry I cant explain better.
I have asked my tekie son to play with me sometime and make a list of what the real problems are that could perhaps he could communicate them with you for hopefully a better discovery of what the problems may be.
I'll have him or he will use me to communicate what he finds if anything to you.
I also adore this game, and really love the new people it has brought into my daily enjoyment.
if its running the locally the latency was likely lower then 10ms.
All of my barn and coop animals empty their feed troughs daily, even though I still continue to fill them enough for two days each morning.
My chicken has never gone into the coop (I don't know how she eats the feed), day or night, rain or shine. I bought her fully grown, and in the span of two in game weeks, has only laid two eggs on the outside stoop. She never shows hearts when petting or brushing, but my journal does record her as attended to. I finally just sold her and got a new one. Too early to tell whether that is the solution.
The cows and goat give milk on schedule (at least until I was unable to reach them). For a few days earlier on, I would try to place food in the troughs (barn and coop), but it didn't show up visibly. I wasn't sure if the animals were being fed. The cows continued to produce milk daily, so I guessed it was only a missing animation problem.
When I pick up a trough to relocate it, the feed disappears, as it used to in single player.
When i open my storage or refrigerator, it often closes again before I can get the item I am trying to place transferred from my backpack.
NPCs are often passed seen running in place. For example once I was talking to Evan at the museum, while at the very same time, the other player saw him stuck running in place in PV. I once passed Dee stuck walking over a bridge, or more accurately, stuck IN the bridge up to her waist.
Some of the issues I have noted are similar to issues that at one time occurred in the single player game, but have since been corrected. All from this current list are occurring in a game I am Hosting, not playing as visitor as posted above. I didn't yet have the animals in the earlier post.
Edit: Even after a full night sleep cycle, the cow and goat are still on the coop roof.
