Black Dahlia (6g each) the best selling crop/flower ??

So it seems every crop i've grown so far only sell for 3g each. in the caves i found black dahlia and planted and it sells for 6g each. Is that the highest priced crop/flower to grow and sell?

It stays planted and harvest every 4-5 days every season except winter.

'Best' crop to plant really depends on your situation. If you have meteorite tools, the 'best' crop may change, or if you plant in a season with lots of rain etc. AFAIK crops going for the most money right now are hybrid crop seeds you get from fulfilling a certain amount of quota. They are worth 50g, but they take 13 days to grow. I advise using fertilizers if you plant them so you can increase your yield from 5 to 8-15.
Generally, if you're going by data and maths, the best crops to grow that yields more eventual profits are those that regrow, because once you slap on a fertilizer they last for the whole season. For example, Black Beans, Coffee, Tomato, Raspberry, Blackberry. The prices for some of them may be low but because they grow fast, they might end up outselling even high price crops eventually.
If you have the meteorite watering can already, then for simplicity's sake just plant hybrid crops with fertilizers!
Or just go deep sea fishing with a meteorite fishing rod. Some of those rare fishes fetch anywhere from 1000g-5000g.

Just calculating the selling price might also not be the best way to determin what is the best. Some crops can be turned into food quite easily. And you can enter a number how many you cook so it is real fast to cook a huge quantity. So some crops that sell for just a little can very well turn quite a good profit if you use it in cooking.

YES..i forgot about cooking . i really should be selling expresso instead! And the mushroom soups. im just trying to find that one product to make to get that gold pouring in :)

I planted 2 12 x 12 farm plots with "Potatocarrots" fertilized I made roughly 160k gross - 9k ish for the fertilizer. If you plan ahead you can get 2 planting in cause they have 13 day grow cycle. Bottom line ya you can probably make more money with the regrowing crops but they take to much micro for me. The 13 day grow cycle is perfect gives you plenty of time to screw around in the mines for meteroic gems or fishing for museum and exploring . I only plant 2 fields of 144 simple its ball busting to fertilize it and seed it but for 360k a month potential money worries are over. Thats just my play style. GL

For flowers, I find sneezeweed more profitable. It sells for 8g, grows really fast and you can easily find the flower in the wild for more seeds. It has to be replanted, though.

So far for flowers, I found that the rose sells for the most...10g each...dont remember how long they take to grow

For flowers I plant a lot of Venus Fly Traps. They sell for 30g a piece.

You're right it is ball busting to fertilize and seed it but also ball busting to harvest and sell them,,,your inventory fills up fast...the inventory for selling items now seems to be too small and it will take multiple days to get all the money from it...but it is worth it to not have to worry about money again

I grew them in Wahoo Beach. It's a tropical plant, so that makes sense. But check the seeds, maybe they can be grown in PV too?

They can be found in Bitterleaf Jungle. On the map, if you go west from the J of "Jungle", past the open area with no trees, you'll reach a group of trees. The flytraps grow among them.
