Deleted save

I was at the third world at final and now when i started the game all everyting is deleted
I won't start again ... need help

As an achievement hunter it fells so bad when you tryed so bad to finish the game and then boomm the save file is gone... :(

Hey guys, I need all the details you can give me to help identify the bug. Looking at the leaderboards database I see many players completed the game so this is not 100%. Eddy, the last level I see you completed is World 3 Level 27. Abystoma is World 3 Level 1 and denharris... I can't find you in World 3; did you change your name or did the bug occured before World 3? Could you confirm that's correct?

Oh and yes, I'm working on a solution for you guys to rebuild your savegame by fetching your scores on the leaderboards. We don't save the amount of stars you collected but we do save the character you used, so if you have the golden one I could save three stars. Not a perfect solution but it's still something. Of course I'll try to also fix the bug! I'll need some time, thanks for your patience!

Note: I played for a bit after the reset, World 3 level 1 is probably from that. What I can remember is that I was at probably least level 8 or 9 in world 1, but it's been a while.

I just realized something. On October 5th I've uploaded a major update including localization and other fixes... I can't see why on top of my head, but I'm wondering if it would've affected everybody's save file? Would that date make sense for all of you?
