Game doesn't launch

Game doesn't launch, just stays in task manager as "nw.exe" when trying to launch from steam.

However, when nw.exe is executed from the game folder files, it works just fine.

How to fix this?

Had the same problem but found a solution! I downloaded an older version of the game and it worked fine.
