Can't use Ranged weapon

Just bought ranged weapon but after I got back into the game, I'm back at my melee weapon and can't get to ranged weapon. Is there a switch button?

You have to have ammo for the launcher gun to work. Try picking up the various turds, panties, and trash outside and all over the beach. Whenever you run out of ammo, your melee weapon will default to the bat.

Same, i had ammo in my Master Blaster, but somehow it failed to work, so i wanmted to switch back to baseball bat but i could not, i ended up robbed... any ideas what to do when its bugged?
