Which character is carrying your team?

Was wondering what the spread of characters is amongst the players. By a large margin, my main character is Rakhem. Without sharing too much of the build as some might enjoy searching for that themselves. Rakhem is so strong for me perhaps due to me feeding him all the scrolls that I encountered, but also through his skill set... he always does 60%+ of the damage in my party.

Who pulls the teams weight in your setup?

My fav character(s), when I was doing runs on hard/epic with two champs - is Kaela / Whisper duo.

Kaela for her insane CC and Titan tank and Whisper for strong AOE (synergetic with Kaela) and mind control. That is mid/late game though.

What difficulty do you play?
If you are not playing on epic then those scrolls really do give a very noticeable edge.

For me Kaela was not the top damager, but easily dictated the course of battle in late game allowing everyone else to focus on dps at their leisure.

For me it was Meave, She did top damage on my first run in the game.
I am currently doing a perma death run and i am looking much closer to stats right now. Rakhem seems to be doing more damage than meave for me currently, i am on level 2 right now. Rakhem seems to be a very powerfull character, i noticed that when i upgraded him for the last fight and he did major damage. I have neglected him once i got a third range unit.

This time i will make more use of his skills and abilities.

Unsure of the impact of Epic, however, I feel its more his flexibility in being able to self-heal/damage on a 3 sec cooldown, get mana back quick/add a bit of damage whilst whacking things.

I'll first finish my regular playthrough and see how I fair in higher difficulties.

Do i understand it right, that you beat the game on hardest (epic) difficulty with only 2 out of 4 available character slots? So only half of the team used for you run through the whole tower?

Boron was my tank + cleave damage
Aeric probably carried the team with heals and his earth damage skill combined with the resistance. Meave was always there inflicting heavy damage. Kaela was an extra which I used for the titan. I often let her die early and then revive her, so she could bring a second titan. Rakhem and Whisper were never that usefull imo.

Probably Aeric was the most valuable memorable of the team consistently throughout the game.

Rakhem had really great dps mid game, but I phased him out with Kaela, cause I loved the summons.

Kane was a great healer.

Whisper absolute top mega damage with correct positionning & crowd control,
Maeve top damage in general situations,
Kaela second in damage, first in utility (necessary for Whisper),
Aeric top in healing, second in utility, somehow decent in tanking+CC with creeps.

Inspired by the first message of trying to duo all content on epic, I have been playing a Rakhem/Kane combo. Both initially mastery spec, Kane sticks to that, Rakhem later on goes into might. Rakhem dualwields, but primarily because fire swords give magic pen. His damage is rather decent. Kane is a thorn build (even has -3 might, no speed I believe). The healing / tanking ability of this team is amazing.

I'm at level 7 so far (first two levels played with 3 or 4 until Rakhem got into a good mana-regen position).

Team melee doing well so far. Fights with cages are tricky, but usually Kane can hold out indefinitely as he can bounce around the level to get a breather. (thorns do not damage cages.. devs nudge nudge wink wink).

I am currently doing a perma death run, went pretty good untill this evening where i speed up the fight with a boss who was a single unit and almost dead. He killed the elf in a second. He had someking of aura which pulls your unit to him and the elf was in range.

Which character should i use now the elf is dead? I got keala right now, she has a titan which should offer some protection and some cc spells aswell, so far i know kane is the only other party healer unless i missed something.

I am on level 6 currently so doing pretty good i'd guess.
