How to use Whirlwind?

Kane has an axe to which I applied the Whirlwind enhancement. But I can't seem to find a way to trigger it. How does one trigger Whirlwind especially since his 4 other skill slots are already taken up?

Whirlwind enchantment applies automaticaly to every attack. You can see his circular damage zone in combat.
