Portal timers
Whats the sense of the timing portals if enemies are just going to spawn whenever? Been trying to complete level 2 on Hard but everytime you think you have a chance, 3 elite enemies just spawn. It should be a group and then when the timer runs out another group will spawn.

Once the portal timer runs out a group of enemies will spawn. Each portal has different enemy types and timer. Its your choice which to attack and when, but what i am finding very annyoing is enemies will spawn before the timer. I like the idea but I dont like the enemies just spawning. Game is pretty difficutl already and it really has made me hit a wall.

Hello CitizenX3639 --- each portal has few waves of enemies that spawn at the certain time. Judging which portal is the most threat and in which order it is best to destroy them - I think its part of the tactics.

So for example -

portal A - total timer 120 seconds = 4 waves x 30 seconds each
portal B - total timer 60 seconds = 3 waves x 20 seconds each

If you think we should add more information to each portal - e.g. number of waves and timer between each wave - sure, we could do that.

Please let me know with which particular combat (on which floor) you have a problem and I will check if we should rebalance it.

One recommendation perhaps - sometimes it is better to try to nuke the portal and not focus on the enemies. Let Kane/Ent/Whisper Tower tank the enemies while you destroy the portal so it doesn't spawn more enemies.

I finally got thru but dang you really have to play it perfectly. Ok, i understand now. I thought it was here is a group, and the next group will respawn in x amt of time.

Thanks!! This is not an easy game - Hard is really Hard and it requires a lot of thinking. So I am glad you are enjoying it.
