Any way to highlight items and other clickables?
You know, like tab does for most of these RPGs..

Of course, I follow very closely everything what's happening here.

I of course understand your point - we tried to make all important (collectible and quest) objects as visible as possible - gold reflects the light, unique items and other special items have their own graphic effect.

Pixel hunting is only for non-critical lore books, notes and various other description of the items or environment. But if you like to read all of them - then it could be annoying to move your cursor left and right across the screen.

So - we will try to make it as an option - something delicate (fitting the atmosphere) - perhaps a small shine effect would actually be nice - that's a good idea.

So not in next patch - we have already full pipeline - but in the one after we will do our best.

nope, and it was a deeply thought on mechanic to not include; important things are in obvious places and/or shiny

Just what I was wondering...it'd be a very nice addition, devs.

Yes, dear Devs: that would be a nice addition optionally, everybody could choose if wanted or not. (it´s just a simple key, knowing from many other RPGs)

Being obvious ruins the purpose of secrets and hidden items that this game is meant to be, ADVENTUROUS!!!

Thats basically giving the game a cheat function to bypass a wall which IMO should never be in the game no matter how tempting it is, Elder Scrolls is known for having the scripts

No it's not. Missing an item because you didn't scan the whole area with your cursor is stupid. Or just take Tyranny or Pillars of eternity, the characters do it themselves.

Also keep in mind this is a loot based aRPG, knowing where the loot is important.

this game is made on right way...everything is good...the map is little so see where all gear are be boring

The inability to highlight loot just adds an element of unnecessary tedium to the game. It isn't interesting or fun to run the cursor slowly over the entire screen. I generally like this game, but I do find this part very frustrating.

And it's often done pretty discreetly, usually just a tint of blue over a small area.. it's not a cheat or game breaking, especially in a loot dependant game. Missing out because you, the player, didn't see you could click somewhere but your characters walk straight over or past it is silly.

Would love to see this as well - rather an industry standard mechanic nowadays. At the least it could be an optional keybind - off by default for the purists who don't like the idea, but available for those who don't like pixel-hunting (or who have disabilities and trouble using controls/mouse, for instance.)

Well they can obviously make it a toggle in Options.

Honestly in my opinion there is no need for something like this.

It's a function in virtually every game of the genre.. heck when planescape torment was remade, it was a selling point on the store.

Psychologically its a huge difference whether you run through a level knowing you have to pay attention, or knowing everything is highlighted anyway. A huge difference.

This, a dozen times. "Did I forget something? Should I go to the next level now?"

Yes, it´s a difference, same as the difficulty settings which can be toggled from easy to hardcore whenever you want to, , some choose easy, some want it hard,
highlight use-able items with tabulator-key is optionally, too ! (IF added I would like to use it how I feel this day, sometimes got more time to explore every single point on screen with mouse, sometimes not , it´s not a cheat just a little help like screen brightness in graphic options )
[sorry for a beginners english, not want to use translator tool ;-) ]
