Try epic though - on lvl 5 there is a spike in difficulty - forcing players not to hoard all gems and use the forges... So I am really curious if you manage there. Please let us know and we will have to touch the Queen of Shadows (oh.. she hates anyone touching her).
+ Enemies will become increasingly resistant to elements. I know that Barrage is random damage - but this is how we designed it - mana dump for a fluctuating damage.
Target dummy mk VI has 100% restance to all elements and my lvl 7 whisper alone shreds it to 49% with just skills and weapon enchantment. Add to this her natural magic penetration and it's resistance is almost 0%
If you try epic - if you get the wrath of some of the enemies - while laughing gleefully spamming Elemental Barrage - that will be a sad ending to this story.
But it's much more fun than Hard so i will stick to it. Also my heavy tank Kane finaly started facing strong opponents (before he could rush into 10 enemies and not even sweat)
Whisper still does great damage and random element is quite nice
p.s. i also found out that you can have multiple summoned Ents, this is so good. In theory cooldown reduction build sounds really good
