Mechanical Guard on level 2

Is it possible to lower the barrier to fight mechanical guard after choosing to come back later? Just finished the level and it's the only thing I missed.

If you can't is it safe to assume there'll be more instances like this with missable achievements?

Edit: Just got the 'Can we make it work?' achievement on level 5.

If you mean the guard in prison (forgive my forgetfulness) then no, you can`t fight it once you choose to walk away.

Fair Fight

(somewhat missable) I Don't Need Many
They are related to earlier floors, so it shouldn`t be too hard to get them, if you so desire.
