First boss

I can't get any more gold. I can't beat the elite or boss, can't even get close. Can't change the part because there are only 2 chars. Is there somewhere to go get more stuff? Do I just need to start over? Is this a game where I'm going to have to restart because I didn't pick or get the right gear all of the time?

Turned the game down to easy. Now everything else is too easy.

You can`t beat elites behind the door at that time. Everything else is just about your skill and understanding of how game works. You can change the difficulty at any time, though you will have same problems further on.

There are numerous posts about this. It is possible you were very unlucky with drops AND didn`t get any suitable quest items to cover for that, so it may be hard to beat the boss on epic difficulty. But normal difficulty should be doable without any gear.

Make sure you read descriptions for skills of your champions as well as enemy skills. At this point you don`t have much to choose from so all skills are very important. Conserve your mana for when you need it the most. Spend it for survival, not the damage. Learn to use Kane`s wall effectively.

Make sure you use pause or slow time a lot. Step out of danger zones and break line of sight. Enemy channeled abilities (rays) should not target both of you champions, though you might want to keep one of them targeted so that enemies don`t do anything else for the duration. But make sure you don`t lose your mana to drain, better to use it beforehand.

I took the game back to normal. Once I got the 3rd guy normal is really easy. Guess I just didn't get very good drops. I can also now grind a little at the tower at the top. They really should have moved a few things around in the game.
