The Earth Amulet? In the trial area last level - any idea where it is?

I found the fire, water, air and void amulets in the Trials area but cannot find the Earth amulet. I need it for a side quest for the Wisp. Does anyone know where the Earth amulet is? I have explored every area. I thought it would be in the Earth area but I cannot find it. BTW, what are those strange plants for that I cannot pick? Does it have something to do with me finding the amulet?

Go touch the weird lookin' tree thing that has the amulet, and then you can go find the stuff to pick up.

It took me a good 30 minutes of backtracking to even find the stupid tree. It is not well marked and easily overlooked. It is outside the temple in the earth region, basically on the other side of the wall from where Geothash sits. Go out of the temple on the path to the left of geothash. Go about a 1/4 of the way around the outside of the temple clock-wise.

We are marking the tree better on maps - as with all important quest objects and statues. It is not our intention to force the player to run around and backtrack - to look for hidden quest npcs.

I personally hate the games that inflate gameplay time in this way- and we shall not do it. Time is short and your land is dying - you should only press forward!
