There is also Aericcs skill Earth Blessing that also affects summons and can give them magic penetration.
All in all i`d say it is fine as it is, you do have to pay attention to that, and utilise resistance weakening effects to do elemental damage,
Its perfect exact the way it is. Its not meant that you kill any enemie with any tool you have, if this was the intention, we dont need diffrent classes of damage or any diffrence in weapons .and skills ..
So basically I decided I'd rather have a summon that does almost no damage on a large portion of fights over a summon that dies instantaneously, since it was still better than anything else Aeric could do. At least Kaela's mecha army had the explody mode so their deaths did damage. Her mechs were also weird though in that her skill power did not affect their normal damage, unlike every other summon. Did affect the explosion though. Just kinda inconsistent-ish.
All of that being said, i never meant water lord should not have some penetration. Mayde it should. Or maybe not.
