some observations
There were no items for Aeric in chests on first level and half of second level, except 1 chest.

Auto-targeted enemy skills hit phantom bow and lightning rod.

Book 'how to tame the weather itself' has tag <newline> at the end.

On level 3 RC12 boss` Poison aura visible range is 2 times shorter, than actual effective range. Blunt sword unique is spawned after battle and its not adjusted for difficulty.

Aura of Flux enchant reduces elemental resistances by -10%, that actualy results in 10% increase instead of reduction.

Finishing completed challenges again on hard/epic awards crystals indefinitely, even training challenges.

Mechanical Guard boss (Ancient Guard) on Living Quarters floor is too easy.

Click on npc, champions walk towards it, nothing happens for 3-5 seconds and continues normaly after that. For me that very clearly happens with mana servant and chained golem.

Level 2 Cyclops fight. While it is not mandatory fight, it feels a lot harder than other fights on this level, while not rewarding anything interesting at a later point. Am i missing something?

In level 2 Mausoleum fight description mentiones 6 enemies, yet only 4 spawns.

Challenges: Veteran Savage Orcs - 1. Only 2 portals present (3 in description) and enemies keep spawning from normal map portals, even after 2 portals are destroyed (not indefinitely).

Typo in description of Gargoyle Primal.

Cindros` gift. A great addition to 'chance' sword early on. But it will fade, while its price will not. Was that intended? On my first playthrough i did not chose 'chance' sword and never found cindros` gift useful at all. Maybe add a way to upgrade this 'gift' with another sacrifice later?

In battle, before 'start battle', if autocast is checked, pressing space (keyboard key) will switch autocast ont/off.

Viscous Flame skill (Mechanical Mage) does nothing.

In-battle tooltip with enemy damage shows wrong values on hard/epic. Tooltip shows 10% increase for each difficulty step, but actual increase is 20% per step. Also i suspect pre-battle info screen doesn`t take current difficulty in account.

And 1 more thing. Latest patch said:

- however every scroll i`ve seen had powerful negative and small positive. Never used any of them since that patch.

Chest loot is random.

My first time through the 1st two floors resulted in over 90% of chest loot being bows and xbows. Devs insist that was just bad luck.

I don`t think that is the case. I had payed attention to that chest from which i was getting equips for Aeric because that happened before Aeric joined, so i wondered what i can do with that item. I had a save before that chest so i specificaly tried reloading and it was giving me equips for Aeric as if they were in the loot pool with other items. I took some random item, forgot about it and kept playing. After Aeric joined and some time later i noticed he is 'nude' while others had most of eqips green/blue. At that time i started specificaly saving and rerolling chests (and i mean chests, not fights). Not a single item for Aeric. And at some point in second level it seemed they`ve appeared in the loot pool.
So yes, ofc that may as well be a 'bad luck', like 1% of 1%.

Btw i am also interested if there is any particular reason why inventory dps stat is not corrected for dualwielding, surely it is known that it is wrong? Tooltip in battle shows correct value.

thanks for the comments Panterich, very useful and I am fixing them.

Regarding loot - it really is random but on level 1, when Aeric joins only mid level - his total item pool chance is lower than Maeve's or Kane's - it was 45% Kane, 40% Maeve, 15% Aeric.

I balanced it and now it is 40% Kane, 35% Maeve, 25% Aeric. I hope players will not complain that they get useless items early on (for champion that they don't have in the party yet.)

Here did you mean floor 1 fight?

Here did you mean the boss you encounter in prison, when you explore it for the first time, or the boss in magic forge, when you return from floor 4 to complete quest to weaken the Shade?


Regarding greater scrolls - you do not use them since the trade-off is not good enough in your opinion?

Yes, trade-off ... At best it is an equal trade somewhat (meaning you still don`t get any bonuses). Lets see:
Lv1: -2 spd, +30 hp -- not good in a long run, so probably wouldn`t take this even for +40 hp
Lv2: -3 armor penetration, +3 armor -- that actualy seems not that bad, guess i just couldn`t decide whom to give it to..
Lv3: -2 might, +1hp/s -- that i can call a trade, but still not a good one
Lv4: -2 mastery, +10% magic penetration -- seems like a fair bonus, can`t tell until i progress further in floors
Lv5: -2 life, ? -- used that one, had something with mana as a bonus (now Whisper has only 1 life left! got to be careful..)
Lv6 and Lv7: don`t remember greater ones, are there any?

Are those randomized or fixed ?

One more thing about last patch. Playing on epic and doing challenges gives enough gold to level up every one at the time you get blueprints. Just noting.

Yes, typed wrong, its floor 1 fight with cyclopses only. They are durable, spawn fast and i can`t see a way of managing more than a few of them at once, whatever you do. If i`m not mistaken they guard an amulet, which i guess was more useful before last patch (with jewelry crafting)

Oh, so that is why i didn`t encounter boss in magic forge on my second playthrough.. didn`t weaken the Shade for achievement (good fight btw).

I meant boss in prison, that you can choose to fight. I don`t think it is weak, but it dies too fast. Buff -> all attack -> spawn totem -> victory. Reloaded game, removed most equips, started fight again with only Aeric and Rakhem. Buff -> totem -> hammers -> Rakhem died but boss had so little hp left that it was victory anyway. Thing is, you do have strong unique weapons for that fight. I suggest increasing all resists and hp for boss, maybe 20% each?

As a sidenote, can`t figure reasons for making THAT achievement a hidden one. I would never have guessed it in my lifetime (read about it here)

And corrections for my last point in first post: pre-battle listing doesn`t count difficulty adjustment with resistances only.

It looks they are random.

Level 4 - +30hp, -2 speed
Level 5 - +20 mana, -30 hp
Level 6 - +20 mana, -30 hp
I don't remember Level 1-3

Yes, they are random - selected from a pool of 12 greater scrolls.

yeah the small negative really doesnt seem small....just ran into a +2 health regen -60 hp scroll
