Opinion about Epic difficulty

One of rare cases, when normal is not new easy. Epic is actually epic, with usual monsters doing 50-60% hp of non-tank.

Only way i could finish game is with Maeve 400% mastery bonus. This way she one-shots any non-elite. And does bosses in 3-4 rain of arrows (thanks for buffing it).
11270 headshot with self-bonus from +25% hunters mark.

Is Epic can be done without min-maxing and cheesing fights?

About game: best part is beggining (first 5 levels), best combats and balance. This 5 levels alone are worht it fully.

I'm currently doing the game in epic without cheesing anything, mostly brute force. However, minmaxing is required, I think. You can't expect doing the hardest difficulty without some optimization done on the stuff and everything.
