I think you should either 'step up' for epic, or don`t do it on epic. That being said, latest patch suposedly changed those enemies. I`m doing a new game and haven`t seen those yet, so can`t advice on something specific. Play some challenges, get some gold and level up everyone a little.
Rakhem can heal quite fine. Whisper can take control of some enemies, and theres not a lot of them that battle. Kaela can distract with summons. or weaken enemies. Boron has a lot of stuns and can quickly finish off enemies after portal is destroyed.
I'm not complaining, more of a question if i missed something and maybe i don't have to fight them, but oh well, gotten out of nastier situations.
To be honest i don't mind the game forcing me to use other characters, it's fun to mess with builds and stuff, it's just that leveling-for-gold system and permanent stat upgrades from map events is not a very good combination with that.
Personaly, i haven`t found any way of not fighting this battle (i tried) but it was quite easy after a couple of restarts.
чо я не задpот чтоль
Splitting the party up like that and making guys have to solo fights is just dirty pool if you ask me, kudos to the developers for catching me flat footed like that. Well done guys, and love the game!
