How to mix the chemicals?

Get the key on top right shelf of mixing place.
Then return to previous room to open cabinet to get another Chemical
Then mix it with water Done.

It's required to say that you HAVE to pickup the rusty key from the double doors, where you spotted Jane through. When not having it, it doesn't make any sense to mix chemicals, when you don't have they "key item" to combine with...
