- Only if you need achievment (raise all units in one of the campaigns to lvl 5), otherwise, no, you shouldnt.
- Nope, but depends on luck. There comes little offtop. Let's compare. Lucky start with champion units (4x square) = 100% win, while lucky start without them or with 2x square champion units = 90% win. Something like that. And i am talking about battles vs AI. Cant say anything about battles vs human, because i didnt try it yet (maybe someone want to try it out?).
I'm such an idiot, never even tried to equip the champion units because I thought it used a core unit slot and they're limited, so I missed alot of exp for these. Restarted the game and I'm leveling all units now, it's far more easy to play with the champion units on the battlefield (so far). I like the game even more now :)
