Advice on what to do next

I have a level 40 Minotaur. Where do I go to level up fast? It seems like monsters either give me piddly EXP or are stronger than me and beat me up. What place should I grind levels next?

I wanted to go farm black puddings in the newbie mines but I'm too big to do that now.

I read on the wiki there are black puddings in Hack, and I did find one, but there are also cockatrice and mindflayers there and they beat my ass.

I have no clue where to go.

In case you happen to read this...

I suggest you check out few nice 30-50lvl exp areas in Laenor continent.
Butterfly farm: various butterflies, 3-5k exp each. also similar size earthworms if you figure out how to get to them.
Bunny valley: black and white bunnies, 3-5k exp each.
School of Lumine: bunch of 3-5k exp each phantoms.
All of the above areas also have bigger monsters in them that will quickly kill you.

If above areas feel easy, there's usually loads of mineshafts near Laenor southcross for exp purposes. These are quite a bit harder to newbies but easy to find.
There are many more areas but those are just to name a few.

There is a lot of content in batmud to explore and figure out, usually the hard way. My advice is not to rush it, make exp, learn new things, gather some gold and invest in some cheap newbie equipment to get started. Also remember to spend your experience often so dying doesn't feel so bad. Good luck.

I reincarnated so I can go into the newbie mines and farm black puddings for money.

Problem: I'm level 30, the max level for the mines, and the black puddings beat me up.

I can't kill anything except the weakest trash mobs that don't drop anything good.
