Hi all Cartoon Strike players,
today we have some interesting news to share.

We are working on the full release (1.0) and you can look forward to some big changes. You can also check our short teaser of the new map. You also have one last chance to get free Chicken skin before full release. Just level up your profile.

General:
- Various updates and fixes for following maps: Menu, Tounine, Arabian Night, Streamhouses, Airport.
- Join Team rework. Once per minute a player can join the team if there is either free space or an AI.
- Team colors rework. Player’s team will always be blue and the enemy team will always be red. Even after changing teams.

In Reality:
- Fixed various problems with AI.
- Walk, Run and Jump sounds effects are now correctly synchronized with player’s Walk, Run and Jump actions.
- Time between matches reduced from 60s to 30s.
- Player has 90 seconds to choose the team at the start of the match.
- Turned off shadows for players.
- Fixed bug where game broke after player changed team on Streamhouses map.
- Chat fixes.

In Menu:
- Added sound when equipping clothes and changing weapon skins in Customization.

Other:
- Renamed teams on Streamhouses map from Blue and Red to Omega and Alpha.
- Default clothes colors for teams Omega and Alpha are purple and green.
- Visual error on Bank Robber vest fixed.
- Fixed daily quest conversion problem.

Arena Update is finally here and you can look forward to a new map, daily quests and many different improvements.

General:
- Added Khione Arena map! Designed for fast action, spherical arena offers quick interaction between players. Battle it out to claim a spot among the best Khionian warriors. Gaining intel in the center of the map will help you. It replaces the old Planet Khione map.
- Added Daily Quests! Once per day the player gets a random quest. Finish it to claim a reward. Player can have up to three quests in progress. Once per day a quest can be reset to get a different one. There are ten unique quests.

AI:
- AI can now hack security point on the Airport map.
- AI can now hack computers on the Streamhouses map.
- Various AI behavior improvements.

Graphics:
- Added option to disable Post Processing in settings to improve performance on slower machines.

Menu:
- Added Level Up Menu. Entered by clicking on the player's profile in top right corner, Level Up Menu shows level up rewards for each available level. The last level, codified “X”, is repeatable.
- Daily Quests are displayed on the right side of the Home screen. Click on the quest to read the description or to reset it.
- Cartoon News moved to the left side of the Home screen.
- Reward Window shows up in the Menu when the player levels up or completes a daily quests. This is a reminder of player’s achievements.
- Create Default Reality button has 30 minutes cooldown. It is intended to be used only in case of emergency when already created reality breaks.
- Tounine map image in Reality list menu and Create Custom Reality menu replaced with new one.
- Fixed problem where texts in Boxes menu did not show up in 1280 x 720 resolution.

Weapons:
- Reload time is faster by 20% for all History and Present weapons.
- Laser Bullets: add new bullet effect and new muzzle flash effect. Bullets show small laser explosion upon impact.
- Fixed laser bullet headshot problem.

Character:
- Crouch motion speed increased by 136.25%.
- Walk animation speed increased by 61%.

In Reality:
- Daily Quests progress is shown at the end of the match.
- Characters shown in the Top Three Players screen are now closer to each other.

Other:
- Map category is displayed in the description text in the Create Custom Reality menu, at the start of the match in the Intro Screen and in the End Game Screen.

Skins:

- Added rarity information to the game data. Skin rarities are visible in Customization menu and Boxes menu. A skin is framed in dark grey rectangle if it is a default skin, light grey rectangle if it is a common skin, blue rectangle if it is a rare skin. Rarity color effect is shown after opening box.
- Added skins for Ka-Bar and BK-7 knives. Both can be dropped from Common Standard Box and Rare Standard Box. Ka-Bar can be dropped from Common History Box and Rare History Box. BK-7 can be dropped from Common Present Box and Rare Present Box. Rusty Ka-Bar and Tsunami BK-7 skins can be purchased from our Steam Store.

Maps:

- Airport:

- Hacking reworked: all players can now take bag through security point in the middle of the map, but when one team hack the point, the opposite team for a short time lose opportunity to go through with bag on. To support this, images showing limited access were added to the security point.
- Fixed the issue where joining player had wrong flag captured info.
- Fixed issue with minimap not working correctly when player entered the portal or spawned at some places.
- Fixed issue with minimap not correspoding to the actual position on the map.
- Fixed problem where hacking feature broke down when player died in the hacking area.
- Added shafts near security point.

- Tounine:

- Fixed bug where player could jump into the bridge building.
- Fixed lighting on the map. Moving objects should be visible more clearly.

- Streamhouses:

- Player can no longer jump out of the map when Change Of Gravity anomaly is on.
- Fixed occlusion culling problems.
