Game Won't Start :(
Got this game from the halloween sale and excited to play it, first time startup and i get a little loading window that disappears and the game wont start. Already tried restarting my pc, steam, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and verifying the integrity of the files and nothing works, I am stuck. Havent done anything with mods yet

Also can't get it to work but ive had the game for years this is the 1st time it hasn't been able to launch maybe a bad update or something?

When does it exit? Before or after the BGS logo?
Also, what are your system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM, operating system)?

having the same issue. happens right after the unity screen right at start up

So it doesn't even get to the BGS logo? What are your system specs?

A small window that says UEBS with a red exclamation point in the corner and a loading bar pops up for a split second, then goes away and the app stops running. Specs are CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor, GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, 16GB of RAM, Windows 10 OS

I doubt a bad update could be the problem. The game isn't being updated anymore. Based on what I'm hearing and reading, the game designers have abandoned the game.

What could be the problem then? Idk if its my specs bc i can run most games on ultra, and vr. Could it be one of my settings maybe?

when I open the game it says loading mod and I can't play

For the first two people, you might be able to find something on the issue in the Event Viewer.

For Jericho, if it hangs on loading mods, it means you probably have conflicting mods. If you have installed any mods recently, uninstall them, and try again. Once you get it working, reinstall the mods you want one-by-one to ensure you aren't getting any mod conflicts.

Yeah I'm dumb but where is the Event Viewer? I'm having the same issue.

Yeah I'm dumb but where is the Event Viewer? I'm having the same issue.
Type it in the search bar and it should show up (if you're on Windows 10).

I'm getting the same startup error as well. I've had this game for a while now and just installed it anew on a newly built a computer over Black Friday/ Cyber Monday. Ryzen 3800X and a 2070 Super and I was excited to see the performance improvements that I would be getting.
