will there be any unit variation like in total war, so the armies dont look like clones of each others

I am trying to import this prefab https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/43229 , but once it is in the game's folder and loaded, it is completly invisable. Would someone else like to try adding in the tripod? Animations are all premade

Ok so I have a character created in Unity (Its the alien Tripod, I know theres one already out but I added the animations) but when I put it into the game it doesn't move or do anything. Before I start the battle the idle animation is working fine but as soon as the battle starts it just freezes in place and doesn't attack. Do you know what the problem might be?

I have that same issue with many units including the tripod

The prefab came with animations, right? If it did, you just need to import those into the custom animations tab. I did this for another model and it turned out pretty cool. I am having issues with attack/ death default animations. Any tips Robert might have left out of his video?

this is garrys mod on unity almost. research how they do it and then mirror in unity instead of hammers.

Probably you'll have to get 2 different units, because I believe ATM, the code is literally CTRL c CTRL v the units that are of the same character, I don't know whether they'll be able to add variation to tell the code to change model randomly for each unit, or not.


ok this is confusing
think of it like this

Spartans > CTRL C+CTRL V = 999 clones of that spartan = 1000 spartan

Spartans x 1000 = 1000 Spartan (It's not changing the model, it's just copying the same model and pasting it in the same unit)

Tho if we had something like

Spartans/Spartans 2/Spartans 3 X 1000 = 1000 spartan (But 3 different model)

Hi. Is there someone who can teach me how to create mods for the game? What I want is to be taught in shared screen call.
Why is the modded character having a steel-colored metallic shiny material? I even reduced the material count to ONE. Just one material and one texture. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestion?
