I'd like to mention also the units they were killing in one blow where orcs, which have 500 Hp their charge attacks are extremely powerful, if they could pull back and charge again they would be the force that changes battles like actual cavalry units do.
1st: they 1 shot spearmen and footmen alike
2nd: they can keep charging even after the initial charge was stopped, the horses just step forward and that counts as a charge
3rd: spermen just disappear, they dont count as kills, just die for no apparent reason
