Yes. Mild. I don't recall anything in the first two chapters that coudn't be in a PG rated movie. The game is at very most PG-13. Were it to be rated by the ESRB there's no way it'd receive a M rating.

I kinda don't mind if the game doesn't have h-scenes, but I'd like to have them, as long as they are well inserted into the story. And the argument that h-scenes are useless is not valid. There are great games with h-scenes that adds to the story and actualy makes the story way better than their respective all ages versions. I could give you some examples:

Fate stay/night: the only way other than sharing magic to give magical energy to a servant

Muv-Luv series: it could be spoilers to talk about it, all I can say is that it's very important to the story and the all ages version is "incomplete"

Deardrops: Although it doesnt give some kind of energy, it's very romantic and shows the intimate moments of the characters, it makes a huge differece to know all the girls better. "But Deardrops is SOL", yeah, it is, and that's why the h-scenes are important to the story, since most of the SOL games are made with the intention to players self-insert into the game.

My opinion? Most of the people who are attacking h-scenes never played the classic and "must play" games and are not really immersed in the Visual Novel culture. But I understand, since it's something realitvely new for normalfags and I thank steam to help spread VNs around. But there is still a big wall btwn long time VN readers and the ones brought by this "new" western market that Steam is helping to create.

If you are talking about alien tentacles, then there is example where they maked story silly for this scene. There is other cases when H-scenes made story better in Muv-Luv series thought. But they are much less extreme.

Good example with Fate/Stay Night.

Why not both, then? Maji de Watashi was an insanely good VN, with a really nice story full of comical moments AND lot of ero\hentai scenes. Sure as hell it's always better focus more on the story instead of the sex scenes, but hell, some good giggity giggity moments are not to be demonized either.

hentai scenes never, not once, were ever mentioned of being in the game, as a stretch goal or otherwise.

I personally am not against that stuff being in Visual Novels, as long as it isn't the focus of the story, unless you play a succubus or Incubus....of course. lol

Anyway, story should always come first.

Also, you should always add in voice acting as well, it makes it more.....interesting.

Too many visual novels rely on sexual content to bolster there sales and while there is a small market for that in the west the vast majority of people don't care. They prefer good story telling and art over pornography. Anime, manga and visual novels are much more than hentai, yet it seems like so many people don't realise that.

From what I've read it doesn't really add anything and the replacement content from the psp release makes for a better story.
