My 21:9 display with 3440x1440 resolution is correctly recognized and used, but in the settings the highest resolutions I could choose are 1920x1080/1200, so even if there would be some serious settings, it would probably the best for me to not change anything.
Sometimes I need a couple ot tries to hit a location on the map. Please make the target selection "snappy".
Game's just glitchy in general. When encountering the same group repeatedly, and they all have a happy little @#(*$& kitten, I have to keep clicking and clicking and clicking to go past them and get beyond the constant "encounter" with them if they're going roughly the same direction as I am.
Clicking things doesn't always work. Sometimes it doesn't recognize that I've clicked.
Combat - wonky. Don't understand at all how it works. Tried many combinations of attack stances and locations for my team, nothing seems to matter. Combat is boring, add tactical combat of some sort, please.
Clicking is delayed the more of the map I uncover.
Food/fatigue kicks in and sometimes I stop and sometimes my crew keeps going. They should always stop so you can decide to eat/camp or keep going.
Traders disappear after you visit. Probably 90% of the ? on the map are traders. Is that intended? Why can't I trade with friendly groups?
Stress feels too easy to mitigate, might be a glitch, or maybe because my crew are generally well fed and well rested it has not been an issue.
I just had *ONE* guy with a gun take out all three of my characters. I had a pistol, rifle and bat. 75 health each. He had about 150 health. How come all of my well fed and well rested characters have less health than some enemies, and they never seem to gain or lose max. health? How can one guy with one gun take out three of my characters when I'm also armed with a gun, and rolling with characters who've got almost a YEAR of combat experience? Please add some decision making and tactical choices to combat. It's practically an idle game style of fighting. Boring and glitchy.
Speaking of the fights - when I skip the fight sometimes the button doesn't work right away and a round or two is shown before the fight skips to the conclusion. That's clearly a bug.
Honestly, seems like a lot of the issues are with some kind of memory leak, or lag of some sort happening. The game seems to hiccup, or slow down, randomly.
Again, I don't understand what the squares mean during fights and the tutorial taught nothing. I could not find a game manual. I'm left guessing.
Don't blur out the screen for events. I had one event where I had to choose whether or not to give a guy 200 bucks, or fight. I had over 9 grand, and needed 9 grand for the port escape, but I wasn't sure if I had over 9200 or not. How would my characters not know that if they're considering paying the guy off?
I can't sell equipped items, or unequip an item, while at a trader. Let me unequip and sell broken stuff.
Equipping items is glitchy, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Items degrade way too fast, may be a bug. I don't know. A gun doesn't break after *ONE* firefight unless it gets shot or damaged. You can fire at least several hundred rounds from all but the most poorly made guns before they need repairs, and well made firearms can handle thousands and thousands with some cleaning and maintenance. A baseball bat is the only melee weapon available. No 2x4, table legs, crowbars, rocks, rock in a sock, nothing else? If you're desparate for a weapon, there are hundreds of things in an average home you can improvise. This game makes it seem like weapons are nearly impossible to find. Good wepons, maybe, but makeshift weapons would not be hard to get.
Despite all these gripes I don't hate the game, it's just clearly underdeveloped and still rough. Feels like a mid-development cycle beta.
Can you, please, send us your dxdiag and game log (%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Gamexy\Displaced\output_log.txt) to team(at)displaced-game(dot)com ? We'll try to figure out what's wrong.
Just sent them, thanks for helping!
Still not working, starting the game in window mode doesn't work either.
Can you, please, try one of the following:
- Verify Integrity of game files via Steam
- Run the game exe as an administrator via game folder
- Check dll files in /managed and /plugins folders
- Try installing the game in different folder via Steam
And can you, please, specify current game directory.
Did all of that, same result. The game directory was E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common before and C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and it still does not work. The dll files in managed and plugins seem fine, I don't really know what I'm supposed to look for.
Still waiting for a solution.
