Does it run on Windows 10?

Does this run on Windows 10 'out of the box' in the Steam environment when I buy this here? Or do you need to go through all kinds of hoops to get it to run as when you have the original version of the game on CD?

Did you try to install in dosbox environment?

I have GOG version. It runs in dosbox (Windows 8/10). I don't think Steam version can run without dosbox.

Before that, I have the original CD run in dosbox (Windows 7), but I have to mount the CD verytime.

Yes, it runs on Win10. No additional configuration needed.

It never run for me (win 10 pro, GTX 1070ti driver 442,19)

It runs on Win10. To run stable, you need to do this little tweak for running the new emulator DOS32A file instead of the very old DOS4GW (https://www.dosbox.com/wiki/TOOLS:DOS32A)

Before doing the tweak, the game used to freeze a lot. After the tweak, it runs perfectly

I (tried) to install from the original CD, using DOS-BOX on Windows 10 64-bit. I dragged the setup.exe to the DOS BOX icon on my desktop and the install began. It properly recognized the sound settings, and said successful.
However then the next step produced an error message something about "not being able to write the MAX.INI"
My next try will be on my old WIN98SE pc I still have around, which still runs QEMM 97 and other DOS games that run fine.:-)

Seriously? I was playing it in DOS in the 90's. It will run on any windows. Just use DOX-BOX it you will be fine.
