Optimal Item Crafting
Hey all,

Using 1.5, what's the optimal crafted item set up y'all use? What are the must-have enchantments?

although those enchantments depends personal playstyle, theese are my personal preferences while playing shadow magic (crafted ones);

ring; -haste -invisibility -regeneration (this ring is a must )
ring; -cave cravling -mountaineering -tunelling (use only when needed. notcrafted ones better)
weapon; -double strike -first strike -life stealing (this weapon keeps you alive)
shield; -block -physical protection -death/holy protection (depends on your alignment)
body armor; notcrafted ones better (floating one for example)
helmet; -casting specialist -leadership2 (for main wizard)
helmet; -casting specialist -magic relay (for off spell caster)
helmet; -leadership3 (if you dont want to learn with hero itself)
use; -dominate -drain will -seduce (to obtain enemy troop or hero as your own. be aware enemy alignement, they can abandone you)
use; -healing -resurrection -repair machine (to support troops)
use; -marksmanship 3
use; -night vision -shadow shift -tunelling (for utility)

you can carry as much as "use" class item. second ring + armor +shield +helm can be any defence attribute you like. items comes from deity quests better than crafted ones. if an item gives immunity to physical or death/holy or magic is best.

edit: there are notcrafted items in main campaign far far better than anything. for example
denorian:
attack/damage +6 each; defence/resistance +2 each; energy drain; holy strike; lighning strike; double strike.

This is almost exactly the same as me!
I occasionally swap a protection or two for defence+1 / resistance+1 as well though as late game, the way your heroes die is from mass cannons (which you can't lifesteal from) whilst the AI spams cosmic spray
