Want to play a Random Map game as Dwarves, how do I do this?

I think this is a really cool game but the limit to only playing pre-made scenarios bugs me. I tried the editor but I don't really understand how to set-up a game where I can play as the Dwarves.

maybe limit the races when you generate the random map so that youre more likely to get dwarves

There's a tab in the Scenario Chooser Window that says "Random Map" in the top-right... it's easy to miss.
