Won't install or run properly on Windows 10

This game when i go to install it shows gigs to download but then says it's been installed when only 1 Mb or so has been down;loaded, then won't run properly. I'm on a Windows 10 laptop with an Nvidia graphics card. Definitely not too low spec as Age of Wonders III runs fine on it

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

1 Mb is a bit on the low side. Its an older game, but not that old : )>

Another thing to try is:

• Right-click the game in the Steam library.
  
• Select 'Properties' all the way on the bottom.
  
• Goto the 'LOCAL FILES' tab.
  
• Click 'VERIFY INTEGRITY...'

Hopefully that'll download the remaining data for you.

Thanks -i tried verify integrity - doesn't work. The game runs and i can hear sounds but the screen is black so i can't actually do anything except exit it.

How do i change install folder when it's installed by steam?

well it seems the installation completed at least? you can change it before you start downloading the game. also, what do you mean that the verifying cache failed?

I mean that it said the cahce had been verified and all files were there - but when i ran the game again, exactly the same problem

Got it running by changing program settings from the nvidia control panel - thanks
