I also have the same problem of tiles not going where I place them. If the update will have more accuracy and highlight where on the grid it will "stick" that should help with this issue greatly. It is quite annoying to place a tile and it goes somewhere OTHER than where you wanted it. Even more frequently the tile just doesn't place at all and I have to keep trying over and over to make it stick on the grid.
I have tried playing in full screen and that does seem to help a bit but that may be due to the tiles being so HUGE when I am in Fullscreen. That is one of the reasons I like to play in a window.
This happens all the time, and ruins the game completely. Totally crap!!!
When have you planned to implement this? A year and a half later the game still is hopelessly unplayable.
