(SOLVED) Lost save game? Any help would be nice
I have recently switched PC's and I cannot bring over my save game. The cloud seems to be useless and does nothing. So I tried manually saving the files to a USB and bringing them over.

I then attempted a dry install using the steps Steam provides here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/4593-5CB7-DC3C-64F0

and even though it does seem to install well, there are still no save files...

My game has over 500 hours of play time on it and I will be pissed if I somehow cannot bring it over. I still have the old PC and the files but I have no idea how to bring it over as the ways provided do not seem to work.

Cheers

I have now tried everything I can think of... cloud save, USB save backup, and straight up copying the WHOLE folder and over riding it on the new PC.... and nothing works. Says I have no save...

I simply do not understand how a game could NOT carry over save files in ANY way... PLEASE EXPLAIN

I made a new save, deleted and switched all the files and YET the new game still exists... WTF...

I have figured it out. Hopefully my journey helps others out:

The savedata for the game is stored in the Appdata on your PC. To get there, seach %APPDATA% on your start bar of your PC.

Go to "Locallow"

Your saves will be there under Tiny Titan Studios.

Copy those to a USB or whatever and paste in the same folder on your new PC.

This is probably why Steam cloud backup doesnt work... because there are no saves in the Steam folders. So its backing up a blank. So make sure to save locally as I described.

Hope this helps some people
