How to get engine/caboose?

Hi everyone,
With this new update, I'm quite happy to get back in the game.

After strugling a bit to restart the game (I was in Mexico, now locked again...), I'm back on tracks.

1) How can I get new engine and caboose? I remember having the bullet combo "long ago" but both engine and caboose seems to have disapeared...

2) Is it normal that some engine/caboose are still missing in Trainiary? I see: No 1 - No 3 - No 8 - No 13 - ... . Where are 2-4-5-6 (bullet) -7-9-10-11-12-... ?

On a final notice: French translation is awful.

Edit: Sorry, The first sentence I wrote is because I read the question wrong (it's 4 AM here and I'm sleepy lol). I answered at first as if you asked where to find them and no how to get them. But I prefer to clarify this and let the response anyway because it may be helpful for somebody else.

when you enter into the trains thing you have like tabs within that tab, You usually see first the trains you got by using your gum machine, but at the sides there are two tabs (caboose at the left, and engines at the right if I recall correctly)

I think is normal. You'll get new engines and caboose while you progress in the game and unlock new areas that give you specific engines and cabooses. But I may be wrong. Maybe some mod/dev can help here.

The french thing was said by another player too, so it must be awful lol I know a little bit of it but I never played it in french so I don't know but they said they are working in that but they have like a million things that people are asking for so I don't know how long it will take to improve the translation.

I totally agree with you for the "geographic" engine and cabooses. Things like the Viking engine/caboose being unlocked after finishing Europe North, and things like that.

But what happened to the engine/caboose that are not linked to a geographic zone? Like the toy train, the bullet train (which, I think, I unlocked while back and has now disappeared), … . The blue diesel has disappeared too but not the yellow diesel.

So, why aren't they in the trainiary (missing numbers) and how to obtain them back?

We have removed some of the Cars/Engines/Cabooses so we can do some design work on them and we will be releasing a future update with new Cars/Engines/Cabooses including those that you see are missing.

Hey I remembered something,BThadium. There are factories that can make you obtain some of the cabooses and engines! I don't know if you knew this but I just remembered this the other day and I wanted to tell you in case you forgot o didn't know. I know the mod said they removed some of them, but the factories remain the same I think. You have to collect the resources to unlock them first but then you get the engine/caboose :)

The factories unlock specific cars, not engines/cabooses. Just so there is no confusion!
