In his apartment, behind a painting by his desk.

If you wanted hand holding, google a walkthrough and watch someone else play.

If you want to play the game, explore. It's almost impossible to NOT find this stuff if you keep your eyes open and look around a lot. The devs put this into the game on purpose...

How bout this? If I want to play the game, I'll play it however I damn well please. And if I want your condescension about a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game... you know what literally no one has ever wanted that.

I know this is hard to believe, but I TRIED googling it. The answer simply isn't up yet. There simply IS NO Youtube video up showing how to complete just this one quest. There's one that says it shows it, but it only shows how to get the quest and then how to turn it in. There's several walkthroughs of the mission, but I didn't want walkthrough for the whole mission. Plus, who's to say if those even complete the mission at all? I got frustrated at 3 in morning with this one side and just wanted a solution to--and only it--when I woke up. Now, I had the common curtesy to not waste anyone's time with the entire backstory.

And here's the thing, idk if you've ever googled for an answer, but what you find is usually a forum post where someone asked the same question--usually to be met by some full-ret*rd who thinks it's helpful to say lol git gud. It's not only not helpful, but it's actively impedes other people in being able to google for the answers effectively.

Next time, ask yourself if what you're posting is could even possibly be helpful, because literally no's amused by this crap.

Everything you need is always in the game. Go everywhere, search everywhere. I'll point you, however to his apartment desk area.

Oh I'm sorry OP, I hadn't realized you wanted just the exact information so you could walk yourself through the game without ... having a walkthrough.

For real, why even have a game like this, which *relies* on exploration, be something you'd want to play? If you can't figure something out, *go look for it*. It's not bugged, it's not something they 'forgot' about, everything is literally right there - everything that's in the game has multiple angles to reach, and multiple outcomes for how you could do it. If you don't like that, why are you playing?

Listen guy, he never said he didn't like the way the game was played or anything like that all he said was he got stuck on a spot at 3am and was frustrated and wanted a simple solution to one tiny portion of the game. If you seriously have nothing better to do than sit there criticizing people over the internet for just asking for a little help on a stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game you should really get a life. Who the ♥♥♥♥ cares whether or not he is playing the game for its "intended purpose"? ♥♥♥♥ you, there isn't any intended specific way to play this game hence there being "multiple angles to reach, and multiple outcomes for how you could do it". Just because he asked for information on how to find one thing to help finish one part of one mission of the game does not mean he wants a walk through and to be hand held the entire way through. Finding the evidence on Jacobi is a very tiny fraction of the things you have to do in this game. So, you should kindly just shut the ♥♥♥♥ up with your irrelevant, condescending opinion because no one gives a ♥♥♥♥ what you have to say.

Asking for a little help = "look around in the game, as it is obvious other people are capable of doing". I gave the help necessary, which btw was the same as many other people's help - look around. It's the best advice for a game which requires you pay actual attention. This game has always been "pay attention because you'll miss things". Clearly, the OP should probably have turned the game off and gone to bed if it was that frustrating. I do not give solutions to things. I give hints. I've had games spoiled way too much by people who outright give solutions, to want to do the same to others.

Nah I know plenty of millennials that aren't like that.

..... wait, none of them play video games. Nevermind.

OP already called you out on your stupidity and you're still going on. You could've said it's in his appartement behind the owl painting behind his desk and the thread would've ended right there with OP getting the answer he was seeking but nah, you had to go on and give your wortless opinion anyway and you're still not done with it. Some people are really obnoxious.

Telling someone to look around in a game does them 0 help whatsoever. What good does that tell them... "look around". Clearly OP was unable to find what he was looking for and then turned to the internet for a more precise answer that would help them get past this small part quicker. You telling him to look around in the game is about as helpful as you telling a friend who has lost their phone "hey did you try looking around". You know you didn't comment on here to actually offer any help at all you just have nothing better to do with your life than sit there trolling people on the internet and now since OP and myself have called you on your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you are trying to defend yourself like saying "look around" is actually helpful and you just make yourself look stupider. Granted I do 100% agree with you on people who spoil games with their solutions is quite annoying however, in a scenario like this where the OP was clearly just looking for a quick solution to a tiny portion of the game in no way would saying "in his apartment behind the painting" would spoil the game for him in any way. Either way you posting your little "look around" does nothing for anyone thats not a hint thats just the words of a condescending loser who thinks he is so much higher than others because he doesn't believe in getting hints from anyone about video games.. Good for you guy, were all so impressed so why don't you get off this thread and get back to it you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moron.

You just made me feel like a brainless blind idiot. Been searching for 2 hrs. hats off to you
Zekiran Feb 4, 2018 @ 1:25pm
But the question remains: did you find it?

Seroiusly there was one button in a room somewhere that it took me like 3 full runs through the game before I saw it. Saw the stuff behind the glass doors, locked, and just... couldn't see the button right next to it. Brown on brown, I suppose. So it isn't unique and it isn't supposed to be an insult, it's just that so many people rush through areas expecting things to be obvious. If you were putting precious things in a room for safe keeping knowing that thieves wanted to find them, you wouldn't put them where anyone would just glance across them and grab it. :)
