*SOLVED* Alvaro and the Abbey Contract (HELP)
So I have 94% of people killed (including some civilians) and I saw on a forum that there may be a key that leads to a restricted area (the witch in the cell tells you but I killed her oops). Does anyone know where that is? Or if there's secret areas I might be missing (I was killing everyone from the get go)

Edit and tips from Knives: Just run around and swing your sword. It'll help.

Off to the left of the door is a painting, the key is on top of it.
Which door? Where is the painting? I've been looking for an hour...
EDIT: I suspct now the area in question is the witches last stand, which I had already found...

Yeah it's where the last of the witches were hiding out, which seems kinda dumb doing it behind doors with glass on them. Oh well, the coven never struck me for having a brain.

Don't forget to look for the three guarding the dead thief.

He's up in the apartment across the way from the Conservatory. I was very frustrated last night about that, went up and down that stupid building 3 or 4 times. And then I went outside, and explored a little more... to find that I'd knocked out the ones looking for that thief.

Killed them. Awarded achievement.

EVERY Overseer and Sister has to die, except the one you're putting in the chair. On the whole level, not just in the building.

Has anyone actually found the mentioned key "on top of a painting on the left"? Where is it?

I assume it's the key for the locked area which requires Witches' Key, but I just ended up entering that area from above after searching the whole place :nonplussed_creep:

It's near the door to the area, the painting is tilted, the key is on the lower right side.

I just got a screenshot up for that very thing.

If its a help for someone: You should have at least 54 kills, not including black market, the pregnant girl, the witch and alvaro.

I have just completed this side quest, standing on the roof where the Sisters were gathered and it came up as completed. Other than the systematic clearing of all the sisters and overseers (left the witch in the cage alive), i am not sure if following Cardoza with the plate to a projector helped at all. But in my first playthrough i just swiped him at the table after killing everyone inside got him to the chair went up finished killing, and got a quest fail.

Took awhile for me with this. I used that imitate ability on a few of them and it renders them unconscious by default. You have to kill everyone; can't leave them unconscious. It's a pain, but go through the whole map looking for everyone until the journal pops up saying the contract is completed.

How many kills do I need to have for this? I finished the mission with 55 kills (freed the witch, knocked out Cardoza, didn't kill the lady in the black market, and didn't kill any civilians) and placed Cardoza in the chair, but it still doesn't show as completed.

Might be possible that number of enemies are just random through each difficulty? I had 53 kills (enemies + witch in the basement) on easy (achievement playthrough) when contract got fulfilled. But in next playthrough on very hard, I´ve go 53 as well (enemies only, witch alive) and contract was not completed.

The one that I missed was the guy sleeping in a bed on the 1st floor (by that I mean the 1 above the basement)

@ JendaT, it might have to do with difficulty, it says on the Very Hard option that guards will come in greater quantities, so it probably is that. I mean it might be just ONE extra, but it might also be like... 16.

THESE THREE GUYS were missing in my OG+ run, thank you so much for pointing that out! I completely forgot about them.
