how do i nonlethal the outsider?

i'm right next to him and my only option is to kill him. is there anything else i can do? i've been doing a low chaos run with very few kills. please don't spoil, just tell me if there's a way to nonlethal him.

yes there is you had to loot the corpse when you entered the void

You have to loot the key from Malchiodi's corpse like the first comment said and then search his room after that non-lethal should be availble.

no i looked around, i was getting bored and frustrated but i didn't want to kill the outsider. i did it anyways and im sad

as soon as you go through the eyes it's on the left.

Close to the eye there is a man stuck in the "mountain" partly. He has the key to enter the room which contains what you need to not kill him.

kill him he deserves it.
