[UPDATE] HOTFIX to Resolve Game Not Launching is Live

UPDATE We have released a HOTFIX that we believe resolves an issue preventing some players from launching the game.

NOTE - Those who changed the locale for non-Unicode programs in order to workaround the issue should revert this change as it is likely the cause of the “Insufficient storage space” error.

Had the problem that the game didn't launch at all. I tried everything that was posted, e.g. updated DX, changed the region locale, etc. Nothing worked.
Until i had the idea to start Dishonored 2, that was still in my list and it gave me an instant error on startup. Some "D3D11 Create Device and Swap Chain"♥♥♥♥♥♥was missing. Found out it is an Windows Update File.

2 - Install & Restart PC

The Dishonored 2 starts normally but Death of Outsider does not.
The installer of KB2670838-x64 update says that it is already installed.

Sweden, Windows 10. Tried everything suggested in this thread so far with no succes. Game crashes during the second loading screen, the one right after the Bethesda, Arkhane and Void logos, before i can reach the main menu of the game.

Also, please confirm that if any changes were made to the System Language settings, that they have now been reverted back.

Milwaukee, WI. OS Langauge is English. Did not make any change the language setting... Actually, brand new OS install within the last 2 weeks.

I'm located in America with English language settings on Windows 10, fully updated. The game launches but inevitably crashes: in menu, while loading up, while loading saves, a few minutes in to play time (assuming I can get in at all). The longest I've played without interruptions in twenty minutes.

I have fully updated video drivers, Windows 10 64 bit, DirectX 12, etc. I've verified the files, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, everything I can think of.

Edit: I forgot to add the rest of the relevant information: I have a Ryzen 5 1600 cpu and my graphics card is a Radeon RX 580 updated to 17.9.1 but when it was on 17.7.2, it had the exact same issues. If more information would be useful, I'll supply whatever is needed.

Black screen when i try to launch the game, 1-2 seconds after the game crash. Region: Spain. Language: Spanish. SO: Windows 10.

The DLC still won't launch for me. It was working perfectly and then after a few times closing the game, it won't start all all.
