The last Dishonored ?
I mean since the outsider is the source of the superpower and plots, if you actually kill him you also kill the next dishonored... right?

No, he is just a physical manifestation of the void. The void still exists without him. Killing him also means that someone can replace him

Its the last in the story arc that started with the empress death, their will be other dishonors most likely just this is it for the whales and such based on what they have said. So another kingdom another dishonored most likely in the future.

JJust my random thoughts

I don't know, they have many other possibilities, they could do stories that take plasce before, the outisder's origin story maybe, or other character's origin stories, you never know. Though knowing arkane they're not going to milk the franchise for the sake of milking it, so another game would probably be something that brings new information/experiences to the table

This is the final game of the Outsider arc. There will be future Dishonored games though I don't expect anytime sooner.

Didnt Dishonored 2 just get realeased this summer? Are they doing yearly releases now like ubifail with their AC franchise? Ubifail ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up AC like you would not believe. I stopped buying them after that horribly optimized AC3. That thing ran like a fat pig that ate too much. I got 15-20 fps in that game with an AMD 6850. Its still not fixed.

I think the Death of the outsider story wise is a good thing since even in this second game the outsider who originally was an interesting character with mysterious motives became a crux to a much more vast and interesting idea of the void and i feel like they did a good job of demonstrating its potential by introducing deliliah as well as the ending fight in the void.

Dishonored 2 was November last year, and Death of the Outsider is to that game what Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches were to Dishonored 1, except you don't need Dishonored 2 to play this. Both those DLCs came out less than a year after the original game as well.

Nothing to do with Ubisoft or Assassin's Creed.

The last Dishonored when it comes to the Caldwin era. I'm pretty sure we will see more Dishonored in the future, set in a new era.

Fractured: Tyvia - Fractured 2 - and then - Fractured : Gold of Pandyssia :p

Yeah, the devs have more or less confirmed that more games are planned, but this particular era with Corvo and Jessamine has been told and done.

Personally, I'm hoping that they'll eventually visit the Pandyssian Continent, there's probably a whole lot more mysteries contained there than the rest of the known world combined.

nice! yeh Pandyssia could be like America pretty much - except that Columbus got eaten by swarms of killer ants... and Aztek-like folk with Outsider powers could be pretty spooky. So the invasion never happned.

Tyvia though, my favorite in the lore - could be a decent fantasy parallel to the Russian revolution - or the modern coldwar era - with some asian flavor infuded into it. Definitely a political upheaval that has most nothing to do with Dunwall - and the main character/s gets the mark from Bilile the Outsider :D

I would very much like to see Arkane explore the "democratic" State of Tyvia. :D
On a personal opinion, I would also love to see them explore Morley through the insurrection that took place 35 years before Dishonored 1. It could be too an opportunity to see the Empire from a different angle.
