Who knows how to unlock animals that are DLC

About 70% of the animals on zoo tycoon are DLC. I don't know know to unlock them.
Does anyone know how?

All of the DLC animals are included in the Steam version of the game, they should all be unlocked already. Are they somehow showing as locked in your game? Some animals are locked until your zoo reaches a certain fame level. In sandbox mode they don't all unlock automatically. Instead they're unlocked up until the highest fame level you've reached in any of your zoos, but if you haven't yet reached the highest level some will be locked even there.

This unfortunately isn't like ZT or ZT2 where there's a really wide variety of extra animals available through expansions, this game only had two expansions (Australian animals & South American animals) and overall has a pretty limited variety even with the DLC included.

And by two expansions it really means "planned" expansions(or maybe just one expansion including those two regions), as original XBOX Zoo Tycoon never really got those expansion, only 4 individual DLCs of two bears and two antelopes. Later in 2017, Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection-yes, what Steam offers right now with the name of Zoo Tycoon is this very version-, which includes South American and Australian animals released on XBOX and Windows Store.
Well, as Zoldyck said, it's just matter of zoo fame to unlock "DLC" animals. Or if you're playing challenge mode, some animals are needed to be adopted from other zoo you made on other place, using animal reserve system IIRC.
