Finally!

Steam has been too long without Zoo Tycoon. I never got to play this version.
Is there a possibility for the classic PC one to get brought over as well? That was my childhood there.

Mine too lol. Although Zoo Tycoon 2 was THE BEST. This looks like the xbox 360 version. Hopefully it's not a clone and made for the PC.

It's no Zoo Tycoon 1 port, but I still appreciate a version of a Zoo Tycoon game that doesn't force Windows 10 Store to be able to play.

It's not an Xbox 360 version. It's an Xbox One version. Microsoft Store features same trailer. It's a 2013 year game, so no big diffrence in graphics.

Nope. I own Xbox 360 and a game. Only 65 animals, no kinect support and no "Ultimate Animal Edition".

I bought this for 16 euros from microsoft.com on the 25th of december last year. Let's me play on xbox one and windows 10. It's available now on the microsoft store for 24 euros.

While the graphics are quite good, there's nowhere near the freedom that the original games gave you. .Preconstructed habitats with limited placeholders for enrichment objects/food. Also, since it was made for both xbox one and pc, the controls are very awkward. Made me suspicious about the sandboxing for jurrasic park evolution, which for that reason, i still haven't bought.

I wish this would just be what they said it is, a remaster, not some dumbed down better looking version of it.

OMFG, you and me both, man! I kept warning all the people who I knew were hyped for JWE that judging from what the devs did with this game, JWE will probably be next to nothing compared to JPOG in terms of replayability, content or general gameplay depth and they kept calling me a hater for it. xD

I'll be honest, Zoo Tycoon 2013 looks more meaty than JWE, since afaik JWE was rushed for the latest Jurassic movie's release and even now is busy receiving pretty major technical updates. Despite it's shortcomings and potential lackings compared to the older games, ZT2013 is an entirely finished product, solidly realized and my only criticisms towards it are coming from my older experiences with the original games.

I cannot emphasize the fact enough that I actually really like this game.

I spent over an hour with a microsoft employee (using a translater it felt like) to get ZT2 to work, and gave up.

It was just then I typed Zoo into the Steam game search and THIS came up.....

Sometimes (very rarely) things work out for me.......Does anyone know if this will get a Dino Expansion DLC?

This is a port of a 2013 game which was slightly upgraded in 2017.
It is completely finished, afaik, cuz the devs are busy supporting Jurassic World Evolution right now.

We could see some expansions. Asobo developed the upgraded version since Frontier stopped working with Microsoft. So if Microsoft wanted any expansions, then they'd get Asobo to work on them.
