Any idea what to do? It worked for the rest of them.
Diagonal movement jitter is not good. Neither is bugged number values in item shops. Resetting music is a more minor issue but one that can be intrusive to the mood and immersion of the game. I don't have an ultra wide monitor and don't plan on it but if there's something here not working on the UW screens here you should address that! You came back after some years to update this game with that option after all, make sure it works 100% or don't bother!
And any content found in the DS version not on here, just put it in already. Especially two animated cutscenes. How hard can that be for you guys. UI options too. Having the original UI for battles instead of the weird thing with HP bars covering everything on screen is something almost everyone seems to prefer. Maybe an option to turn off those exclamation marks for things too? For some they may be nice but others probably prefer to play without those.
You are more than capable of doing these things SE. You resurrect this port from the dead to add new things but won't go all the way for things that still need to be smoothed out. LISTEN to what everyone is saying! Or just come here and let us know someone from PR exists and say something, even a canned message is better than nothing. You're doing some good work here but there's still more left to be done. Is anyone there to listen? Please, if you would...

If you want to make more useful UI/QoL changes, how about an option for moving the ATB/HP gauges to the character display window? Show MP gauges in a different color as well. Perhaps decrease the height of the gauges a little, if necessary. Also, add an HP bar for enemies when targeting them. See this sketch[imgur.com] I made.
Also, if Square-Enix would do this for other titles, that would be great. Maybe fix the remaining issues with Nier: Automata and Nier: Replicant, check PCGamingWiki to find them (I know those games are only published by Square-Enix but I think it's someone else other than the original devs doing the updates anyway). Going back to fix issues with released titles is something I wish more devs would do, it's something SE would certainly be commended for if they did it more. Perhaps try communicating with the fanbase a little as well, at least let us know you're reading this.
It's a bit excessive to say the game is completely unplayable just because you aren't able to capture those ten minutes or so of anime cutscenes.
Are you able to start the game and go chapter by chapter to the final battle in 1999?
If so, then that's the exact opposite of unplayable.
As far as actual bugs and crashes due to capture programs? Yes, by all means fix those (assuming of course it is due to a bug and not a problem on your end)
The reason why I said "a problem on your end" is due to the fact that there ARE people streaming this version of CT, some within the last week.

Yeah, I'd be annoyed as well if I wanted to stream CT and couldn't, but by definition the game is clearly playable. Save the complaining about an "unplayable" game for an actual game breaking issue that literally stops all forward progress and ability to play the game. Issues with streaming are clearly not that, and it's just as likely that the problem is on your end and not something Square did.
And, with all due respect, I'm by no means defending Square blindly. Their history with ports and remasters on the PC is a bit rocky. Oscar covered many of the current issues quite well.
