Diagonal sprite jitter

Is there ANY concrete way to fix this on PC aside from reverting to an earlier version?

I'd love to have CT on Steam but my god the diagonal jitter is absolutely terrible.

I've Googled all over the place and so far I just have not seen a consistent answer.

Edit: After trying to find some other solution, I just decided to downpatch it, works perfectly now

The SpecialK app fixes the judder on the newest version.

What settings do I need to enable to fix this in SpecialK? I have it installed but the diagonal stutter is still there.
