Square Enix send wrong version to sell in steam PC version. this is not for PC anyway
Before March 2018, the mobile version of CT was different and was a lot better than the current version of CT.
The versions of CT from best to worst are:
SNES > DS >> PS1 > pre-March 2018 mobile > post March-2018 mobile / Steam.
I played CT on Steam when it released and I've played CT on Steam after various patches including the latest patch.
I didn't mention anything specifically about the UI in the game, but the UI in Steam CT is still bad after patch #5. It's just not as bad as it was when it released. And due to all the very many other issues with the Steam / post-March 2018 mobile version of CT, it's still the worst version of the game to play.
There's a Steam Cloud save... Just right-click on the game in your library, property and under general, there's the option to save on Steam cloud or not...
