Black Screen after launching the game

After the opening video of the game, it goes straight to a black screen where I can hear the title screen song, and I can hear my cursor moving around if I push on the directional buttons, but I get no picture. Is there a fix for this?

late response, but wierdly I found the way to fix it on my end was to change the sound settings. It black screens with my headphones but not with my bluetooth speaker
